Premiership Rugby comes back to life after an eventful autumn of international action with Harlequins and Bristol Bears going head-to-head in what should be an entertaining clash under the Friday night lights.

They are two of the most entertaining teams in the league, but they won’t want to lose ground in a play-off race that is more competitive than ever.

Bristol begin round seven six points ahead of their hosts and should end the night in first place if they win in south-west London.

But Quins will have a little more motivation as they bid farewell to club legend Joe Marler, who brought forward his retirement from rugby after withdrawing from international competition earlier this month.

Here’s everything you need to know.

When will Harlequins v Bristol take place?

Harlequins vs Bristol is scheduled to kick off at 7:45 p.m. GMT on Friday, November 29 at the Twickenham Stoop.

How can I watch it?

UK viewers can watch the match live on TNT Sports 2, with coverage on the channel starting at 7 p.m. Subscribers can stream via Discovery+.

Team News

Joe Marler makes his final start as a professional rugby player, with Harlequins set to retire from the sport after this match. With Marcus Smith unavailable after his England efforts, Jarrod Evans is stationed at flyhalf, but Alex Dombrandt is able to feature as captain of the number eight.

The visitors debut summer signing Viliame Mata, who is finally fit to play after an injured start to life at Bristol. A long list of injuries and unavailability, particularly in the front row, opens up an opportunity for Lovejoy Chawatama to feature for the Bears for the first time in the Premiership as he takes on his former club.
