“It’s really exciting to be able to provide cricket opportunities to women and girls throughout the year.”

He added that softball festivals are just one of the projects planned for women and girls this winter.

“It’s important for women to play cricket all year round, which helps build enthusiasm and stay in the game by playing in a safe and fun space.”

The festival will continue each week on Monday and Wednesday evenings, with additional teams from Mullion, Wadebridge, Redruth, Perranporth and Werrington joining the event.
